ELV Project Engineer

This is a site-based role reporting to the managers. You lead the ELV team in delivering site supervision for the implementation of a pre-defined design that includes IT, ELV, and security systems.
You also assist and coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical design teams to maintain design quality and the project schedule with respect to communications, life safety, and automated systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead a skilled team in ELV systems and construction practices on-site.
- Verify the design aspects of IT, Telecom, ELV, Electronic, and Security systems, ensuring approval from relevant authorities and the client.
- Conduct coordination meetings with contractors to ensure the planned design is executed accurately.
- Conduct routine site inspections to verify the quality of installations.
- Communicate and coordinate with the relevant local government departments to get approval at every stage of the project.
- Coordinate with different discipline engineers, suppliers and contractors (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical) to maximize project benefits.
- Offer guidance to the ELV team in handling conflicts during the project.
- Coordinate internally for system installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Ensure a proper handover of projects and complete all necessary close-out documents.
Requirements:
- Proficient in ELV, IT, and security systems.
- Project management expertise for timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes.
- Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to new technologies.
Qualification:
A Bachelor Degree in electrical or computer engineering with Min of 3+yrs of Experience in ELV systems.
