Network Engineer – Huawei GPON

This role offers the opportunity to design and support Huawei GPON Enterprise Networks, work on complex customer environments, and continuously build your technical skills while contributing to secure and resilient network solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of Huawei Enterprise Networks, including GPON architectures.
- Execute network projects in line with scope, design standards, and agreed timelines.
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into scalable, technically sound network designs.
- Work closely with internal engineering and project teams to ensure end-to-end delivery and operational readiness.
- Provide technical support during implementation, migration, and post-deployment phases.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and support initiatives to improve network resilience and uptime.
- Prepare and maintain operational, configuration, and project documentation and reports.
- Conduct pre- and post-deployment wireless heatmap analysis to validate coverage, capacity, and performance.
Certifications Required
- Huawei GPON / Optical Network Certification (HCIA / HCIP – Optical Access or equivalent)
- Huawei Enterprise Network Certification (HCIA / HCIP – Routing & Switching or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with Huawei Enterprise Networks and GPON technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, standards, and protocols.
- Good communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
